For over 50 years the K.A.A.R.C has been at the core of the West Michigan's antique auto enthusiasts.
The Kalamazoo Antique Auto Restorers Club (KAARC) was organized by John Bailey in 1962. The early meetings were characterized by the exchange of auto parts and restoration tips. In 1963, the club members organized their first swap meet at the corner of Westnedge and Michigan Avenue in Kalamazoo. Our Swap meet is known nationwide. Then In 1967, Norm Knight decided to publish a monthly newsletter, which he named the Arc N Spark. Read by car enthusiasts across the country. it is still published today. In 1980, the club created and sponsored the Red Barns Spectacular Car Show. Held each year at the Gilmore Car Museum. Now in it's 35 year it draws show cars from all over the mid west.
JOINING OUR CLUB IS EASY. Just complete the membership application. For over 50 years we have met on the Third Tuesday of every month. Our members go back generations.
